Details - Ride Shadowban Snowboard - red, multicolor
The Shadowban is an all-new model that was designed with versatility in mind. The standard Camber profile and Carbon Array 3™ provide pop when you need it, without adding stiffness. The sintered glide sucks up wax to keep you riding all winter long. This Directional Twin has a Twin shape with a slightly receding stance for maximum versatility. The Shadowban is built to be comfortable anywhere on the mountain, from the summit to the park. If you've been looking for one board that does it all without compromise, your search has just come to an end.
QUADRATIC SIDECUT: Provides smooth turn initiation without catching and strong support when exiting a turn without losing grip.
PRE-CURED FIBERGLASS: Made in the USA, pre-cured fiberglass optimizes the glass to resin ratio to create the most consistent flex pattern possible. No other glass provides this level of stability and control
PERFORMANCE™ CORE: Aspen's high strength is combined with bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strength and lightness
CARBON ARRAY LAMINATES: Radial carbon beam distribution technology, transferring power instantly from the bindings to the edge of the board, allows you to maintain total control regardless of stance width or angle of pressure. This power distribution technology delivers total board control in any position.
IMPACT PLATES LAMINATES: This power distribution technology delivers total control to the board at any stance position. Spanning carbon fiber stringers located in the binding zone collect input from any stance width and pressure angle
ROLL-IN CONSTRUCTION: Unique 3D structure built around Slimewall® urethane sidewalls. Designed to increase the overall strength of the board, prevent chipping of the top layer and reduce weight.
SINTERED BASE: Fusion 4000™ Base, is an ultra-fast sintered skid that is tougher, harder and faster than a pressed skid
SLIMEWALLS®: RIDE has been using polyurethane for sidewalls in snowboards for many seasons. Slimewalls ® is RIDE's exclusive patent - just like in skateboard or rollerblade wheels, polyurethane gives excellent shock absorption while providing great power transmission and energy transfer. Instead of hard, non-amortizing ABS, we get a material that absorbs vibrations created by the interaction of the wooden core and steel edges with the snow, with 100% control of the board. An additional advantage of Slimewalls ® is that the walls made of polyurethane are virtually indestructible and do not delaminate

Standard mounting system allows you to mount bindings in tens different positions.ShapedirectionalSnowboards are shaped one of two ways: directional or twin. In directional snowboard shape the nose is longer and the tail is stiffer, so it is possible to load up on hard turns. This shape is usually used in freeride snowboards.Snowboard profilecamberCamber is a very popular, traditional snowboard construction. These boards have more flex for carving and bend allowing more of the effective edge to touch the snow. The extra springy resistance of the concave profile gives it that extra pop.flexmediumSnowboard flex describes how flexible a snowboard is. Medium boards provide good stability at high speeds and allow for great comfort of moves on the slope.BaseSintered Sintered base - regulary waxed, sintered bases are much faster than extruded bases. Sintered bases can also be harder to repair than extruded bases.
